Closing the hatch as a killer

In my opinion we should be able to slam that goddayng hole shut if we as a killer find the hatch first because when we find it first there is nothing we can do to prevent that survivor from escaping...fustrating af

I hate it when the last survivor get a free escape card... Devs are like "you suck at the game... Fear you not you got yourself a freebie"

Dont hook the second last survivor, down him and look for the last one, problem solved.

you can grab him with the attack button when he is in the animation of the jump but i would want the option of closing it or a habitily for closing it.

im okay with this if they make it to where the killer cant grab the survivor if they jump in it due to the many people who will camp the hatch until they find the survivor or see the survivor and then close it and chase the survivor. if you say it wont happen then your a idiot. at least with the in-ability for the killer to grab me if i jump in i can sneak behind the killer if he is camping it and jump in forcing the killer to want to close it.

The hatch is very important to give hope and prevent survivors from logging out.

Simply: Dont hook the second last survivor

True but if you hook the first downed survivor in the situation then the second crawls to the hatch , then they still have a freebie ....

Honestly, i wouldnt call it "free escape" if a survivor managed to crawl to the hatch while the killer is hooking the other one. If you suspect they found the hatch already leave one in "difficult" spot, far from they were downed or close to each other, so you can grab the last one short after hooking the second last one. It's not rocket science.
