Can’t damage gens when playing killer

When I play killer every time I kick a gen there is no spark, damage and receive no points. When I try to use pop goes the Weasel I kick the gen and the perk icon is still active. I play on Xbox.

Can you try to get a video of this please, and make sure you're holding down the button long enough for the animation to fully complete.
