Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.
Killer will land a hit even after the swing animation has ended.

Perhaps this is yet another lag issue. But I've noticed that even after a killer has completed the "swing" animation it still lands. In some cases it's a whole second after the animation and the killer will still get the hit.
