    No one else is starting to feel a little bad for the OP? Rank 10 survivor or whatever they mentioned being in rank. Doesn't pallet loop... Plays without a mouse. Like everything is starting to add up. Obviously they're playing in ranks where all the survivors aren't god like. They haven't mastered the art of looping and doing everything in their power to waste a killers time. Time to give him/her a break and relax. It sucks that you're already having difficulty surviving and it's only going to get worse. But you're going to have to start optimizing your gameplay. Otherwise you're going to get slaughtered now.

    I just bounced back out of red ranks (survivor) because of rank reset and could not be happier. I do not want anything to do with those sweaty try-hards and would love to be level 8 for life. I have gone as far as log into a few matches and and just go read fb or something to purposely de-pip since you can't just DC anymore. I am not sure why everyone is so ramped up about looping, Why are you continuing to chase them? Kick the damn pallet? I mean seriously I have never encountered an "infinite" loop. Plus I live by the rule that I will not chase one survivor over 20-30 seconds.

    I am with Bunnie on the tunnel and slug, every match. Especially in the red ranks. I have had to give up solo play completely. There is not fun playing solo anymore, those days are over and this pro-killer patch hasn't even dropped yet. And make no mistake, opening every loop, removing pallets and clearing debris is all pro-killer. But I only have 1 person I play with and even as a 2 person SWF and comms, we escape like well under 30% of the time.

    The last year has been a constant stream of either buffing killers or nerfing survivors. All I hear from killer mains is that balanced means "I 4k every game". That is the balance they are looking for. Most do not care about survivor gameplay or entertainment. I play killer far less than survivor, probably 80% /20%, but I never get spicy post-chat, rarely have had a DC even before the penalty because I play like a decent person while playing killer. I do not camp, tunnel or slug. I try to spread out the hooks across the team and work my objectives. And I almost always leave with ruthless or merciless killer and BP in the high 20's. But so do the survivors, if a survivor is dead in my match and has less than 10k I failed to provide a good game to them. If people gave just a tiny sh*t more about other people's game experience we would all be having a better time.

    First of lets be clear the hitboxes are off. That doesnt mean none of the hits should hit. Never said that. LOL. I also said to use Noed not that Noed carries anyone. I used Noed. So lets make sure were reading instead of venting about dumb ######### I the OP didnt even bring up. And no i wont sit down and shut up. Ill whatever the ######### i want to say. All these Rank 1 killers managed to get these kills and these wins and rank up and yet its the survivors fault the rest of you cant make your way up the ranks. How come we have to shutup and you get your update for all the damn whining you guys were doing? And yes the update is coming and when all our games get worse you guys will be the one to blame when you have to play bots. anyone who thinks this update will balance it out for solo survivors is a moron.

    Why do you care how someone else feels about me? I play my game how I want to play. Lol. Im sorry but winning DBD games isnt something that gives me validation. So if i want to unplug my controllers and my gaming mouse to play on my touchpad ill do so. If that makes you feel bad for me my guy suck it up. All personal choices. And you killers call everything a loop. i use whats in front of me nothing more nothing less. And thank God i never looped cause omg the way you guys wine about it good grief. Also i dont have a hard time surviving. When did i ever say that? I didnt. Lol. I said i want to enjoy the games win or lose. Im already back to my level 8 about to be level 7. You guys really got to start reading and comprehending. And no if i decide to play well just find other ways to piss you guys off by surviving. Thats what we do survive. Get used to it.

    If Ruin appaeared in 80% of matches it means it was doing something right. Whether it lasted 30 seconds to 1 minute that means gens were being regressed and it kept at least 2 people off gens looking for the totem and 1 survivor in chase.

    The game had a Starting Phase that doesn't exist anymore.

    so you are complaining about the lack of compensation you receive with this update?

    that would be quite the double standart though, as i dont recall getting any compensation eigther for the Nurse or Ruin nerfs. so those changes are okay for killers but not for surviors?

    and if we can both agree on a clear "no" here, then we can maybe start seeing the previous Ruin nerf as the compensation you received for this nerf? cause both affect the same topic: the overall games length.


    any my point here is, that 100% safe loops that require no skil whatsoever to be run for multiple gens are simply put bad gamedesign and need to go. if you want to beat me, do it somewhere i actually have a chance to fight back! but abusing the same old broken loop over and over and over is just boring.

    the devs tried fighting their bad map design in the past. bloodlust and the entity blocker are a result of that, yet that did not work out, so here we are, they FINALLY reworked these structures.


    also i really dont see it as the survivor "outplaying" or "beating" me when they just immediately run to the, lets say, iron works window. i just drop the chase cause i know that stupid building is gonna cost me 3 gens if i try to run it, regardless of the survivors skill. there is no mindgame, this is just plain holding W until the window is blocked and they are forced to go somewhere else. how is THAT a fun experience for anyone?

    i dont want you to make it easy for me, i enjoy a challenge. but again: if i dont even stand any chance to begin with, that is not at all enjoyable. if you dont want to get hooked, thats fine by me, but at least do something for it! outskill me, outsmart me, do SOMETHING that requires you to use your brain even a little bit!

    or how would you feel if every single vault / pallet was blocked off during a chase with the killer? that would be super boring, wouldnt it? there is not mindgames, there is no skill needed to beat you, its literally just the killer holding W and catching up, thats it. is that fun? no! then why do you defend the infinite windows like that? thats literally the same gameplay, just that the survivor is the one holding W here and getting the easy escape.


    all im saying is, that mindless loops like that should NOT exist. everything needs to have counterplay, otherwise its gonna be a super boring experience for the other side.

    i dont know what to tell you here, other than its literally just a latency issue.

    if you get constantly hit by attacks that dont at all look like they hit you, its nothing else but your connection to the server being bad.

    you know that what you see on your screen and the info the server sees is two very different things, right? your PC is sending data to the server and the server places you on the map based on that data. if you have vaulted the window and moved out of range on your screen, but the data the server has at that second tells it you just finished vaulting and are still in range for a attack, you get hit. thats gonna look really bad on YOUR screen, though on the screen of the killer / of other survivors it looks a lot better.


    this issue has literally nothing to do with balance, as that is nothing the devs themselves can just go ahead and change.

    If part of this is about the cooperation nerf to gen times just remember ruin got kneecapped so they could monitor gen speed besides Prove They Self got adjusted to counteract working with a teammate so the time overall would stay the same.

You guys have so many perks and toxic ass ways to locate us and you want more so you dont have to work for it. And why are you even still going.     1) ebony Mori’s galore. An “ultra rare” offering that seems to be more like “common” in the sense that it’s in literally every bloodweb level.

    2) lack of good loops. The FEW (like 10% of the map) that are On each map seem to be really good but they’re removing those and making maps smaller. Skill is what... good mind game in jungle gyms and TLs? They’re changing those to favor killers. Almost everything they’ve been changing recently is for killers. I don’t think it takes skill to be a killer other than basic common sense and a good headset. It’s too ez.

    I say this because I main both and I find it to be too ez for killers :)

    it’s already not fun for survivors holding a progress bar down repairing a generator and to hear people complain about getting ran on as killer is absolutely ridiculous. Same happens to survivors. A Single survivor mistake can snowball hard. A single mistake with a Mori and that’s the game for you. Sorry bud here’s a few thousand bloodpoints for your time and effort go queue up somewhere else. Yeah really fun

    I'm not sure what the problem is. They removed the unnecessary and dumb God loops, gave a QOL change to Legion, and even gave a nice little boost for us console players.

    If you're complaining about the gen speed "nerf" it's like, yeah it *kinda* sucks but it's barely a nerf to be honest and if you really want to negate it then you can just run Prove Thyself or something.

    aight, here's a list ^^

    1) slugging: besides perks like Unbreakable that allow you to stand up again, try to recover to 95% and then have the other survivor onetap you. or, if you're the other person, hide and dont go for the rescue unless its safe to do so. if the killer camps the slugged guy, search hatch and use it. and if the killer is slugging in the early game, all i can give you is: dont just all sit around that one spot and go down, lure the killer away and have someone else onetap the slugs. ALWAYS recover while on the ground.

    2) tunneling: dont hookfarm in the killers face would be the most obvious one. other than that, why not try using Borrowed Time or Decisive Strike? i heard they work quite well against tunnelers.

    3) face camp: do gens. oh look, 3 made it out! what a surprise...

    4) BBQ & Chili: 1. lockers, 2. gen auras 3. faking a direction then going in the opposite one 4. being within 40m to the hook, 5. run distortion / any other perk that disables aura reading for the killer. enough of possible conterplay?

    5) Nurses Calling: dont heal withint the heartbeat radius of the killer and always be alert. dont heal in places you cant get to a pallet or window in time.

    6) Bloodwarden: 99% the gates and only open them when everyone is safe


    anything else?

    maybe you wanna add NOED with its totem requirement?


    okay, my turn.

    why dont you go and give me the counterplay to these beauties:

    1) Deadhard for distance

    2) God loops

    3) Adrenalin

    4) Sprintburst

    5) Keys

    6) Genrush SWF


    dont forget, these counters have to be available for every killer, so saying something like "nurse counters god loops" isnt gonna help anyone else.


    also i never agreed that "kills were getting too easy". i just said that i personally dodnt have any problems taking down purple ranks - thats because they are on a lower skill level than i am, not because "the game feeds me the 4ks" like you love to claim...

    its quite obvious that this wasnt a very serious comment and full of sarcasm, yet there was also some truth hidden in there (e.g. godloops requiring no skill to be used and with their removal the survivors having to actually use some skill to avoid the killer)

    not really bait though, it still represents my opinion pretty well.

    The Devs literally said killers get priority when it comes to connectivity; all survivors deal with the latency that occurs from deadicated servers. Since the Chains of Hate update, latency between killer and survivor has gotten even worse. They literally blame latency for every issue that happens with the game; ie even dead hard not working properly.

    It is actually pretty sad to see so many killer mains with their heads so far up in their asses. It is not about the god loops, it is not about the map sizes. The issue is that the devs chose to introduce so many dead zones to the maps, and make the tiles that do spawn much less viable for looping. The meta will shift heavily into stealth builds. So instead of the time spent chasing, which I really enjoy, we'll be spending time looking for survivors.

    Shorter chases are not the answer, and you will all see that soon. And then the pleads for survivor stealth nerfs will come...

    Ok sweaty try hard survivor wanting to be chased until you don't want to be who runs DS then run straight to the killer to use it. You probably wish killers had no powers, ran at 80% movement speed base and were locked in a box until three gens got done. Learning new game play is something you need to expect in a live service just like enduring being charged when we all know what the meaning of a stun is. Balancing even if we muddy the waters of words to be fair.

    ok so you stated in earlier replies that this wasn't about loops mr. green rank touchpad using survivor (who I'm sure they're not catering to), so what was it? let's go over all the big changes survivors will complain about.

    1. godloops. I know it's not you but I feel like stating this as well. I'm fine with loops where you have to mindgame, but something like coal tower? what mindgames could I do??? I have 2 options. either A: I give up and they hop on a gen after wasting my precious time, or B: I chase them around this 3 times so that I have a chance to hit them assuming that T-walls or L-walls aren't nearby. THIS IS AN ISSUE.
    2. Gen Co-op speed. for starters, prove thyself was changed to combat this, and it's to prevent a scenario where the killer spawns on one side, the survivors (2 or more) are on the other. by the time I get to their gen even if I went to the right one immediately it would be done before I could do anything about it or at roughly 90-95% already. how balanced. plus it's only a couple second difference
    3. Great skill check boost. This is tiny. you'll live.
    4. Map size. it's by what, 10%? YOU'LL LIVE. and, for the second time now, it's so killers have a chance to reach gens before they pop at the very start. for details on this number 2: Gen Co-op speed.

    all in all: you'll live, they aren't outrageous or anything, and have good reasons to be implemented. if you would like to call me a toxic slugger while pointing out how I'm wrong, go ahead. I wanna see how you think this ruins the game.

    I like how u keep say U get 4ks every game U consisted rank 1, U this or U that but not everybody is as good as killers as u. Not saying iam good at killer either. Nerf in gen speed was needed also literally isn't that big of a different didn't they take like 5% off when 2 people on gens? Also now survivors actually have to think of better loops instead of trying to run infinites all game. They didn't take every loop out the game just some strongs ones they wanna give new killers a chance 2. Survivors still have there second chance perks there almost everything if anything not much is gonna change in this update. also congrats the game is getting easier for u want a cookie?

    Nerf into the ground? They just gave a minor nerf to co-op gen progression. It won't affect teams that spread out at all, and if you get 2 people with prove thyself on 2 gens, it'll be just as fast as it is now.

    Survivors complaining has become a joke at this point.

    Skill check nerf seemed unnecessary imo. The participation penalty nerf from -10 to -15% is needed though.

    Why should i give the last survivor a chance to escape? Killer's job is to kill survivors, not entertain them.

    You're not entitled to have a chance to escape after your team messed up against the killer.

    If the killer does not slug for 4k, then he's just being nice and gives you a chance to escape. But who appreciates that?

    Istg most killers nowadays are just so toxic with their slugging builds (which is aids when its nurse or billy) and bm-ing for just playing the game normally. They're so aggressive, and I don't know if it's bad luck that I run into them 24/7 or..

    Also the tunneling and camping play styles really went ⤴💹

    You bring up a fair point. Devs have final say about the balancing. While the op did not offer any counter points or logic as to why the balance changes are in their mind bad ones or how they would negatively effect the game in a bad way, in their opening post. They just said killers are bad, they are the ones ruining the game, when in truth they have no power over balance. It's the devs word that is law, when it comes to final balancing changes. Since if the op wanted to offer feed back, they could in a detailed way. That might influence the devs way of balancing things, since they do seem to think killers or killer mains have massively control and influence over the devs. Yet do not speak their mind about why these balance changes are bad. Just that they are bad and killers are to blame for it. Since you think if killers were influencing devs choices on balancing so greatly, wouldn't the op have been better off by making up a logical counter point and putting forth their point of views, to try and influence the devs as to why these upcoming changes are bad? That way they could of serve as a jumping off point for others to state their point of views or gather support for their ideals, to have more of a possible effect or influence on the upcoming balance changes or at least offer a counter point to the logic the killer mains they seem to hate so much are using.

    Last year was nothing but killer nerfs. If you don't remember them then you just choose to ignore them. Ruin nerf was massive nerf specially to all slow killers. It's not uncommon now that first chase could cost several gens. You simply don't have enough map presence in large maps if all 4 survivors are spread to repair optimally.

    Good survivors will still be able to survive just as good killers were still able to kill without ruin

    That the less experienced survivors will struggle a bit and drop down to a rank they actually belong too is not a bad thing

    As a ps4 player I find this update needed..

    I have to deal with you kids last minute swapping chars to all flashlights.

    Taunting me to infinit loops.

    Gen rushing.

    Bodyblocking

    Your hidden perk called SWF and comms.

    Tbagging me at pallets.

    Then when I finally catch one of you toxic scrubs and hook you regardless of all the bodyblocking and Sabos cause nowadays I have to waste a perk on iron...just so you can finally pop all gens then stay and decide to play dumb ass hero and get murdered by NOED... its on you. But I can't say a peep.

    Wanna know the first thing i see at resaults screen in at least 6 out of 10 of my matches as killer? " You have been added to group chat" and from then on I become a farseer. "Crutch perk" camping ezkiller" "We won" etc


    You wanna know why you survivors get so mad and entitled? Cause you hold the power role. Only power role players get that mad after a loss.


    You have all mentioned above going for you. Its to the point where I'm more scared of survivors when I get to red. And I'm the damn killer lmao


    Its not right that you guys have the power role. Do you not see the que times for survivors?? No one wants to play killer anymore due to the toxic crap that survivors are able to do. The devs see that and wanna try and fix it. And its about damn time.


    Meanwhile I hop on Dave or zerina and have stress-free easy matches...

    Which just to add something. One thing that been overlook, while calling the new balancing changes killer sided by op or well game ruining. Is protect hits. From what i seen, things that would never count as protection hits before, now do. Which funny enough, could be seen as buff to two survivor perks. We're gonna live forever aka give me more blood points and mettle of man. Which might lead to a nice little boost to overall blood point gain for survivors, at least these who run we're gonna live forever. That and we do have prove thyself, which the numbers have been change. To help it grant the same effect as before. Not weaker and not stronger. Just the same. Since if this balancing patch was just to give the middle finger to survivors, it seems very questionable if they reach their goal. Since they are making a few nice changes to survivor with protection hits or in the case of prove thyself, updating a perk to keep it from becoming weaker. Making it seem like, they do care about the survivor side of things and it's not all doom and dread. The devs don't only care about the killer experience but also the survivor experience as well.

They go for the 4k everytime and they do whatever they want to get the 4k no matter what. Slug. Tunnel. Camp Every single game they slug the last two. I will never go into red. I hate playing with my red rank friends most of the time . They dont even like it. Its terrible. Like idc if you win. But these killers acting like its so hard to get a win well thats on you cause the killers i go up against get wins. So? Lol like idk. I wish i could put up some videos here of the games i play cause at this point with all these comments i really cant tell if people really dont know how the games are going or if theyre just to ashamed they have to resort to those tactics to get a 4k. But its bad. Like is it so hard to get your 4k and have a decent game. Heres your stupid 4k take it just give me a bit of fun. Anything. ill take some dbd fun scraps at this point. itll neve be how it was when i first got this game. i loved it. now its just eh. its like barely sitting under the radar for good enough to fill the quarantine time.
