unbreakable should be readjusted

I find this perk very annoying to play against and I feel like it should be change and here are the reasons why.

Please keep in mind that I'm not a dev

1)Its a second chance perk that punishes slugging. If a killer works hard for his map pressure he loses it because someone just held down mouse 1 for 35 seconds.

2) Its very annoying to play against when there is more than one in a game and its hard to tell if someone has it. Much like old ds you can't really tell who has it unless you know of a fact someone does. I:E This survivor had it last game so I know that they'll have it again

3) No real counter-play or downside of running it. Once again its very hard to know who has it. Plus running it with ds makes is very annoying combo to fight against. Can't pick them up for 60 seconds and in 35 seconds there off the ground. There is no real downside besides once per trail which is odd when perks like Mettle of Man and deliverance you have to earn a way to get use out of that perk

Don't get me wrong I see the reason why survivors would run it. Some killers and slug very easily in first few seconds of the match, Killers like nurse, oni, hillbilly, and ect. Its just odd see the needed effort to slug correctly versus someone who just held m1.

Here's how I would change unbreakable without gutting the perk, Survivors who use the perk with be hit with a effect like tier 3 madness but without the screaming for 60 seconds. Survivors are prevented from performing any of the following interactions:

  • Healing others and themselves
  • Repairing Generators

  • Using any of their Items

    1. No, a Killer loses their map pressure because they slugged a bunch of Survivors and didn't account for Unbreakable. Good Killers know when they're taking a risk by potentially allowing an Unbreakable proc.
    2. It's hard to tell if someone has it, but that's the entire point. If you keep mental notes on what Perks a Survivor has equipped you can narrow them down especially with the current Perk meta as is.
    3. This is absurd, there's absolutely counterplay, you just don't excessively slug Survivors (unbreakable is slow enough that it'll only really proc if you slug more than two people at once) and the downside of running it is that in the majority of matches it's a dead perk because the Killer doesn't excessively slug and instead just downs and hooks quickly. You rarely get a chance to use it and even if you do, it's not a guarentee you'll successfully use it safely to get good results.

Unbreakable is IMO fine and your rework would completely ruin its game altering potential and fun factor that makes it a good Perk, for the game as a whole, not just Survivors (as losing the ability to revive fellow downed survivors for 60 seconds obliterates the reason why people run it in the first place). It is essentially the Devour Hope of Survivor Perks, eh if not useless a lot of the time, but occasionally it will be the clutch monster that saves the entire round.

If a survivor isn't moving away from an objective after being downed, and he/she has no other reason to sit still (eg. the game went so badly and everyone's just given up), it's safe to assume a survivor has Unbreakable. Also, tenacity is usually a telltale sign, but not always.
