Can something be done about survivors spawning right in front of the killer?

I just played another game (Killer agreed with the crappy spawn) on the Autohaven map, and I spawned on the back corner of the big garage with the gen in it. I had sprint burst, so I immediately started walking along the back wall of the garage towards the door. Before I could get halfway down the wall, I was exposed by Ghost Face's stalk and then downed soon after. He basically spawned with me in sight and instantly started stalking.

This all happened within the first 30 or 40 seconds of the match, if I had to guess. I was hooked under 1 minute in before any gens got done, because we had all spawned near the killer and I happened to be on the outside of the building, closest to the killer.
