PS4: Seeing/Hearing Other Survivor’s Experience

It has happened to me in the last 2 days in more than 3 different games.

In all games I was playing as Yui (Survivor), rank 6 to 7.

Perks: Spine Chill / Self Care / Borrowed Time / Dark Sense

seeing mangled effects / hearing chase sounds

In the first game, and while I was walking near the fence, not much going on, I started seeing things like when you are mangled, dark and blood all around the screen. After a couple of seconds it disappeared like it came, all by itself. In that same game, again, near the fence and not much going on around me, I would hear all of the sudden tension music etc like being chased. I wasn’t and I’m sure that the killer wasn’t anywhere near me. It stopped abruptly as it came: no fade in or fade out, like you'd expect. More like someone pressed an on/off button.

seeing all hook, gens, totem auras with no map

Different game: All of the sudden the aura of all gens and hooks and some totems (I checked one and it was dull) (and maybe other stuff, too; it was too overwhelming to be able to tell) would appear for a couple of seconds and then stop. That happened again and again. I didn’t have any map in my hands. Having the previous experience, I guessed that I was experiencing some other survivor’s map effects. Then when I was the last survivor and was looking for the hatch I came across a beam, going way up to the sky. It was the 1st time I was seeing something like this and I guessed it might be pointing at the hatch. I stepped on it, but nothing much happened. I tried it over and over again, but nothing, till the killer came. No hatch there.

Both these incidents in one of the open maps, don’t remember which ones exactly.

not being able to run

Third incident: In one of the closed building maps (The Game, I think) I got unhooked twice, but could not run. Even though I was pressing the run button, Yui was just walking, taking her time, and of course I got immediately downed by the killer. That was very annoying. Getting downed because you did some mistake yourself is one thing, getting downed because the run button doesn’t trigger is another.

I suppose that this bug might be somehow connected to the overall buggy behavior I have been experiencing these days.

Mismatch with rank 20 players that will just leave you hanging and lose precious pips is annoying enough already, face camp killers make it worse, now this is making the game even less enjoyable.

I hope I helped. Thanks for your attention.

About the second claim, there's an add on for the map that does that.

Legion also has an add on which makes the terror radius cover the entire map.

As far as the mangled effects and not being able to run go, I have no idea.

EDIT: I noticed you mentioned the light beam, which is also a map add on.

    Hope this helps.

They all felt kind of out-of-place but indeed, it might be these add-ons, then. Sorry for the hustle
