Unable to control Deathslinger when speared Survivor is below you

So i just played a game on the Badham Preschool and speared a Survivor in the one house where you can walk to the 2nd floor next to the window. as i was where you can walk up the stairs, i had to walk around the reling.
The Survivor then wiggled to the side and fell down the staircase, so when i arrived at the window he was directly below me.
At that point my Deathslinger just started rapidly turning in different directions to adjust his animation to the survivors position, though he didnt seem to get it right and just spun around like a bayblade instead.
end of the story, i attacked to get out of that and ended up somewhere on the 2nd floor (next to the drop down hole) i definitely didnt want to end up at...
it was a weird experience...
