Is it true that Sloppy Butcher doesn't work with feral frenzy?

The wiki says sloppy does work with FF, but I've just recently found out from other sources that it doesn't.
So is it true? Does FF not work with Sloppy Butcher?

Its true, FF don't apply sloppy butcher. Just like Hatchets, Ambush, Shred and other stuff, which is not M1.

Are you 100% certain? A video clip would be nice.

It only works with basic attacks. Feral Frenzy does not count as a basic attack

Does it not work with Deathslinger?

It does work with Deathslinger IF you melee them with your basic attack after reeling them in?

FF does not apply sloppy butcher, you’ll need to hit them with your m1.
