Patch 3.7.1: Killer games cause intermittent freezing every 5 seconds

I've had three games today as Hillbilly, Deathslinger, & Huntress, and noticed every time I try to hook a Survivor, or open a locker, my game will freeze every 5 seconds intermittently every 4-6 minutes before the game proceeds as normally.
My internet connection is fine, and have had no issues before the patch rolled in, outside of the Wraith/Hillbilly issues that still stand.
Please fix this guys. At this rate, the game might have to go under heavy maintenance before you start opening it back up again.

I've been freezing up whenever I break a pallet, damage a generator, or search a locker. This is usually followed by my game crashing while telling me I have no internet connection when I do.
