Anyway I could get my data transferred from the Windows Store version to the Steam version?
Now I know that cloud cross-play isn't a thing yet, but I'm asking since considering there is cross-play between both versions, and there is a "Cloud Player ID" thing in the settings. I'm wondering if this could be used to transfer data to another ID.
I'm asking since I plan to get the Steam version of DbD since I currently only own it off Xbox Game Pass for PC and, although I do own one DLC and the Rift pass, I don't mind losing those much for the Steam version, since seriously, who owns the Windows Store version besides anyone with Xbox Game Pass for PC.
(And it doesn't require me to manually update it when a new patch comes out so that'd be nice.)

Cross-progression is unfortunately not a thing yet. However, it is more or less confirmed that cross-progression is on its way to the game. For the time being, there is no way to transfer your progress from one platform to another, even though cross-play between the Windows Store and Steam versions is enabled.

Fair enough, as long as it’s confirmed and it comes soon. I’ll be happy for now. I got a month or two before my game pass thing expires, so I’m sure I got time.
