Hosting
Before anyone assumes, Yes. I'm fairly triggered at the current hosting situation. I'm all for the sake of balancing killers and survivors. Nerf survivors more.. Don't care.. Hell, turn DBD into F13 and make killers so OP it kills the Pbase. I don't care. So long as you fix hosting. I'm tired of warping. getting stuck in stride only to get mowed down by the killer from 10-15ft away. IDC about dying. It's part of the game. I care about the quality of the games i join. Pre-Lobby, 90-130ms.. but in game there's warping and lagging. This isn't an issue with DBD. It's an issue with people overseas hosting games outside of their home country/region and/or extremely poor PC Specs and terrible internet.
Host Lag is hands down the worst possible rage trigger in gaming history outside of FPS Drops/Lag. This has gotta change and soon. They have revenue from the Store, Humble Bundles, and steam sales. Tbh, if Free Warcraft servers can host 20-30k people with next to no donations with minimal lag outside of being outside of the specific country, why can't DBD? I'm not asking for VAC Servers(man that would be sweet tho) but in a recent dev stream they touched on the idea. I feel like this needs to be made a priority after the new killer/patch drops. Maybe allow users to host dedicated servers(ie: CS:GO, Killing Floor, etc). This would take some pressure off of the developer/publisher.. but something needs to be done. I understand that DBD is a "favor the shooter" style game from the killers perspective, but there are too many people intentionally abusing the fact that killers get 0 lag. You can't be banned for being a terrible host. In fact, Nothing will happen to you unless it can be proved without a shadow of a doubt that you're manipulating your network.
