Evade Mori offering - idea
Hello
All this came to me after i got morid 3 times in a row therefore i deranked. Now i admit i have to get better at looping, although i dont think the best way to learn is to get elminated from the game the second time i get tunneled, then downed. I dont think there is a way to balance since the whole thing is to kill someone without sacrifce. What i thought is that as a survivor you can unlock an offering which prevents the killer from using a mori in the match, or at least on you. So the killer doesnt waste the mori, maybe it is preserved, although that could only work if the offering is one-person. To be honest the mori i kinda understand is the yellow one. The green one is kinda unfair towards the player who gets killed since they probably depip and most likely got tunneled to get killed. The pink one i can only think of that its "fair" in that sense that everyone dies, not only one person, that doesnt change the fact that its op. I see a lot of flaws myself on this idea both on killer and survivor side. Another idea i got is to get a perk where if you are about to get morid you need to complete a skill check, kinda like ds and roll out the way, maybe get up aswell (prehaps an adrenaline boost) or just prevent the mori and get hooked. The bad side of course is wasting a perk slot towards something that may not even come into play. These are just two ideas i thought about.
Thanks for reading.

Changing moris is much simpler and much more effective. After 3 hooks you can mori. This prevents tunneling and ensures surivors have a chance, without being too harsh towards the offering. It's not as strong bu still strong non the less.

Not to harsh? It would be useless. The whole point is to take pressure off the killer by knocking out a survivor quickly. Making it death hook would be like removing it from the game

he wrote 3 hooks, not 3 hooks on one survivor
you can hook 3 different survivors, then you can mori.
But i agree that death hook would make it useless.

I agree with that :D

At leats as a band aid for moris is give the survivor that gets tunneled out a black pip
They could do something similar with the keys until they get changed

The best way to change the ebony mori is to have it so you cannot start killing survivors until you have hooked every survivor at least one time.
That way if the killer hooks Meg and Claudette goes to save, the killer is not going to tunnel down Meg down and get an easy mori, instead the killer is going to chase the Claudette which would incentivize killers not to tunnel as well.

No, you would completely kill Mori's in their entirety with this. They need a rework with keys, not be shown too survivors so they can leave games and waste everyones time. With this change you would cause so many surivovrs too just force a crash and make a killer with a mori never be able too play with one. That's not fair IMO.

Super quoted. It will be nice to use Mori, like you said, only after 3 or 4 hooks . I have seen too many people tunnel like no tomorrow just to use the shiny red mori. It's, in my opinion, one of the most boring (and abused from baby killer and try hard tunnelers) offer you can use as Killer. And i play mostly Killer in my free time (red rank).
Mega quoted 100%. Agree 100%

Yes. This.

Most Mori animations are badass. It's a treat to be Mori'd and see them. They're already very rarely used, don't nerf them.

Bring back og Mori, where you don't need to hook anyone. I'm just trolling with that Moris are fine the way they are.

In my experience they're not that rare at all. I sometimes even get multiple games in a row where a Mori is used.
I like the animations and all, but to get tunneled off the hook then Mori'd instantly is so boring. I agree with the idea of hooking -all- players at least once before you can Mori anyone.

I mean, I would agree with this, if it weren’t for the newer players/the more selfish players in the game, who hide in corners or lockers all game or are just really good at evading the killer. If you don’t hook someone until the end of the game and that’s their first hook, then you couldn’t have mori’d anyone all game and that takes the fun/value out of what it’s meant to be. I do think that an easier balance is someone else has to be hooked while you aren’t downed. That’s the only way to avoid tunneling for a mori without hooking everyone once

What are you on about, I see at least one Mori daily. On average I play about 5 games per day, I see a Mori in some form or other 2-3 times in that day. And when I manage to play more games, that number increases proportionally.

Careful with hooking everyone once, one immersed blendette and your mori is trash
