Dude has a hook for a hand. Go watch the first movie and tell me that the first time he speaks Helen's name doesn't give you chills.

I have no expectations about the new killer. There are so many more important things in my opinion.
However, if it is Candyman, I do not know him. I only know the Helen's theme, heard in this intense scene from American Horror Story Asylum. I hope to hear this melody somewhere in DBD if it's Candyman. Having the signature of Philip Glass somewhere is always classy.

It's considered one of the best horror movies of the Pre-Scream era of horror. It's an amazing film and I can't recommend it enough. He's supposed to look normal, which makes his hook for a hand and the eventual "reveal" all the more shocking.

Please, no licensed killers anymore. All of them (except for myers to a certain extend) sucked hairy balls so far.

What do you mean dumbed down?
There's nothing preventing them from making him a more difficult killer. Personally, I find all the licensed killers kinda hard to play except for Pig and LF. Never felt like any of them were "dumbed down" or looked bad. Not sure if you're talking about playstyle or looks.
If they released him I feel like they could be really complex with his power. There's a lot of directions they could take it, and recently I feel like the game has been more "creative" over all.
