Fix Matchmaking, buff killers
I'm R15-10 killer and I'm always paired with r4-1s...
there's no fun, i can't even get better while getting gen rushed by swf teams with GG items

dont need to buff killers just because you are being paired vs survivors who should be better than you as a killer, just need to fix matchmaking so high rank killers/survivors dont get pairs with low rank killers/survivors, its that simple, otherwise rank means nothing

if there's a shortage of killers, maybe buff them a bit
I dunno, Bubba's cube?

This is obviously completely broken and one of the last few patches caused it.
I am suddenly playing rank 20 killers on the regular. Im rank 1 just played with 3 other rank 1s and we went with a rank 20 trapper.

Matchmaking is broken in some patches, then they fix it... after some patches its broken again. Its a neverending cycle... you get used to it after some time.

Actually this is really bad for them. Imagine being a brand new killer who doesn't understand the game and is going up against red rank. Some possible future hardcore players will end up not being players at all. I sure wouldnt stick around.
I've had some matches here where the poor SOB has no perks or add ons and fails to land a single hit on us.

*Nerf killers

you are a rank 15-10 killer, get rank 1 first then ask for a buff/nerf man...
the problem of the isnt that killers are weak, it is solely the MAP DESIGN, which was improved in 3.7.0 (thank god)
the game feels alot more balanced now, yes they still need to fix some maps (remove haddonfield and ormond pls... )
yes, a good SWF is still a pain in the ass, just learn nurse and spirit
after rank 8 i wouldnt recommend playing bad killers like : bubba(billy is 10x better), wraith(M1 Killer, Power doesnt help in chases), trapper (they know where all ur traps are), Legion(u cant really down someone), MAYBE Pig (u can do good with her if u mastered her, she is underrated) and please dont play clown (his power is decent in chases but he lacks in EVERYTHING else)

Is it just a matchmaking issue?
This whole time (since the death of Hex: Ruin) I thought that killer mains just up and quit because of how fast gens were being done, leaving a void to be filled by inexperienced killers.

this is such a wrong mentality, so the only ones with a voice in your opinion are ones that can get to red ranks? no the game should be BALANCED so EVERYONE can have an enjoyable experience when they play, ideally it should be equal where survivors can win and killers can as well

Buff killers? You can't be serious. Sounds like you don't play enough as a survivor. Killers are fast and overpowered.

Guys keep it to the point, and polite.
there'r some good points in here, also

there is a reason why league of legends also balances around the pros, cuz everyone below diamond is trash :^)

just because your not good and go up against decent survivors due to matchmakng, doesn't mean they need to buff killers, they need to fix matchmaking not buff killers, they just ruined every map or survivors so get over it and get good lol

They reworked maps because the utility some of those super-loops provided was way too strong (especially after Ruin was reworked, speeding up the early game). The fact that a killer might have to completely abandon a chase just because a survivor reached one of these loops was ridiculous, especially with the more notorious ones that could be reached from almost anywhere in the map.
At this point, the only map that I feel is too unfairly in the killer's favor is Shelter Woods (just needs more structures with vaults & pallets, because it has like 6 of each), and that's not even one they touched. A lot of the new loops are still decent tools for prolonging a chase, they just aren't as overpowered as they used to be. In fact, the only one that I think they went a little overboard with was the Shop Loop in the Wretched Shop (in my opinion it only needed one of its windows closed, not one-or-both of its unsafe pallets removed too). Though this loop was one of the nastiest loops in the game for a long time and remained a potential infinite against 110% (or less) speed killers until pretty recently, so I can't complain that much about it.
I do agree that improving the rank spread in matchmaking should be a high priority though.
