Pallet variations
Yesterday I talked with a friend about the upcoming DLC/Content and explained her that the toxin of the Clown is slowing the survivor, which let to a great idea that killers could be slowed too. One thing came to another and we had a couple of ideas, that came from horror movies or thrillers when people are chased.
- Pallets in Badham Preschool could become bookshelfs that are dropped
- Pallets in Disturbed Ward or Léry's Memorial Institute could be beds that are pushed in between
- Gideon Meat Plant could get the famous pigs on hooks that get shoved in the way
- In the Autohaven maps it could be tires or a tool cart
- Houses in Haddonfield could have doors (other maps with buildings as well)
- Other obstacles like barrels (McMillan)/hay bales(Coldwind Farm)/fluids/trash bags that just slow the movement and do not need to be destroyed
Some of this things could be broken like pallets with an animation and other things like the beds/tires aren't broken but thrown away/on the side and not be usable again. The doors in Haddonfield could be kicked in by the killers and can't be vaulted by the survivors, but create a obstacle and give time for the survivor to get space or hide (in this instance looping one pallet to death till it gets destroyed would be gone).
I think you can see where this is going, it would not be a "big difference" it think because everything is just "push a button and something is thrown in the way", but it adds a little flavor. What do you think or what are your ideas of new obstacles?
