PS4 Fan in overdrive on menus, fine during trials.
When playing the game on PS4 the fan goes into overdrive on certain screens. Specifically, menu screens, but also at the title screen where initialization occurs. That screen is the worst. The next worst is when I'm navigating the archives, and when I am selecting items or addons. Without any of the menus pulled up, it's moderate. While in trials, the fan is about half as loud as it is on any other screen.
I know that the PS4 doesn't have the greatest design for a cooling system, and that most PS4s are older technology, but DBD makes my console sound the worst of any game I play, except Until Dawn.
I tried to improve the issue on my own by cleaning the internals of the console with canned air, as well as replacing the fan, thermal paste of the CPU, and the thermal pads on the vram chips. For the first week it was much quieter, but after about 15-20 hours of playtime the new fan started to sound like the old one, and it's back to normal.
EDIT::: Pretty sure I posted this on the optimization forum, not sure what happened.
