Why does the nurse need extra punishment after missing hitting someone in a blink?

    She the only killer that can blink thru obstacles. I'm pretty sure that why she has fatigue on missed and successful attack for balancing.

    Yeah, I would say it is for balance reasons. It is also why her camera faces down because it offers the survivor an opportunity to break line of sight, one of the best things to have against a nurse.

    Because she is such a strong mobility and Lethality killer, she needs a drawback on her ability, hence the cooldown and stun on her current kit. The added penalty for swinging and missing is because you should make almost absolutely SURE that you have the survivor on lock, which Aim-Assist, something that is automatically enabled, can slightly help with.
