Survivor locked hook animation
Whenever you hook a survivor, possibly while holding M2 power as the hook is in progress. The survivor will get stuck in an animation of being placed on the hook. they cannot be interacted with but their camera follows the killer as if they are still on the killer's shoulder. End game Collapse does not trigger death of the stuck survivor and the only way to End the match is if one of the two leaves the match.
Steps to recreate:
- Boot up Dead by Daylight Version 3.7.2 (though It may have been an issue in earlier patches as well)
- Play as killer in a public match
- In game, hook a survivor while charging secondary ability or any other CNTRL action (Bottle toss, Blink, Crouch, Vile purge, etc)
Additional Information:
Characters played: Nurse mainly, though I have seen a clown have this bug as well.
Perks played: barbecue & chili, dying light, rancor, pop goes the weasel.
Map: Various, most recently Lery's
Frequency: Rare to somewhat common.
