Killer Ranking needs an overhaul.
Right now, the Killer ranking system relies too much on Survivor actions instead of killer actions, hence why you can de-pip after getting a 3k because the survivors all struggled into 2nd phase on their first hook, or because their teammates left them on hook for too long, and that's a problem. A big problem. If your ranking depends on the actions of your adversaries instead of your own actions, then it might as well be an indicator of the type of people you face instead of an indicator of your own skill.

The dumbest thing is that you lose points for survivors healing... like... why?

Survivors lose a pip from killer facecamping/other survivors leaving them on hook or when killers mori them after tunneling off first hook.

Yeah, but as a survivor you may have the chance to prevent this by not being toxic or playing safe, not meaning that you can prevent all of the camping and tunneling.
I agree with that. Killers lose pips when survivors int or play self centered. They lose emblems when they finish a chase too fast because the surv is bad or ints. I also feel like you are forced to somewhat juggle between the survivors, getting hits on all of them is a necessity. Like getting 30 hits in 1 game.
But also survivor ranking needs changes. Survivors lose pips when they get chased all game long, keep doing gens while someones getting chased or to sum it up, solely focus on one part of the game. I think that's not quite fair. Why won't I get at least a black pip if I keep on pressing gens or distracting the killer by getting chased, when that helps the team as a whole. I don't see any stealth emblem for not seeing the killer the whole game while doing gens and unhooks. (Blendettes should not get stealth by crouching around the corner of the map). Why won't I get some emblem bonus for facing killers with certain perks or addons (NOED, Iridescent Hatchets, ...) and surviving or at least holding a chase? Maybe get some survival bloodpoints too. (Same goes for killer ofc when facing full toolboxes e.g. or certain strong perks)
But I don't think BHVR will tweak the emblem system because they said that it doesn't represent skill anymore. Which we all see in our great matchmaking system, where rank 20 may get matched with rank 1.

I don't play toxic, don't think it's fun or helpful, and I get facecamped pretty often. I figure it's either the killer is not good or they had bad previous round and want to secure a kill. If I'm being unhooked in front of the killer by someone without borrowed time there isn't anything I can do about it. Only playing safe to avoid possible hooks would be sneaking around map for entire match and being useless, that would just result in losing pips still.

Yeah, it's sad that you kinda get punished for getting hooked and farmed because some players think they need the bp so urgently that they're ruining your game in more than one way. I think you should always get at least a black pip if you get farmed and killed in a short period of time. Like hook, unhook, hook, unhook, hook and dead. Maybe you need to get unhooked with a certain amount of time (arouind 4 secs maybe) or within the killers terror radius without bt and you get a black pip by default while still having the chance to get a pip or two if you have the opportunity to do gens or run the killer around.

I think hook unhook hook dead or if you're left on until second state should be a black pip. Could've gone into second state before they even attempted a rescue (happens way too often,especially as solo survivor). Also there's the glitch where you're trying to struggle but just stop that would prevent the 3rd hook - I hate that glitch. I think awarding hooked survivor BP in % gen repairs and distraction points if killer is camping. Hopefully adding scoring events to the hooked/farmed survivor could give them enough to black pip.

I think it should take double the time to die on the hook if you're getting camped. But you make a good point with the bp. What glitch do you mean? That the struggling simply cancels on its on while at least one other survivor is alive?
And I think it's reasonable to get a black pip if you were camped for distracting the killer in a way or sense.

It's not the new thing they put in where everyone on struggle dies. It's been around for awhile. You'll be hitting the button but it'll just stop the struggle before the timer runs out and there are other survivors alive. Maybe it's from lag or latency or something else? I've had it happen to me and I've seen posts with people complaining about it in groups on Facebook.
The BP and black pip could also give incentive for survivors to not just kill themselves on the hook when camped.
