Flash Lights

not sure if this falls under a balance issue or not, but i find flashlights to be a big problem in this game, and not for the reasons you may be thinking. I understand they can be annoying to killers such as myself who get blinded at every turn, but i also understand it is a useful tool for survivors and would not suggest getting rid of them. The problem i have is when my screen turns bright white from the blind effect of flash whites, it causes me physical duress to the point i have gotten head aches from it. I would strongly suggest toning down the brightness by making it a less physically blinding color white to maybe a mild yellow or something. I understand not everyone has as sensitive eyes as i do, but i can imagine at least some physical discomfort to every killer blinded by a flashlight. Its hard to enjoy a game when this negative stimuli is a common occurrence. especially in the higher ranks.

I get what you mean I don't get as far as pain from it but it does hurt a little when you get blinded(physically and emotionally lol) even when my room is lit up and my eyes are adjusted to a room full of light.

Y'know i'll be honest and say, it does sting a bit. And the mild headache from it is nothing more than a nuisance adding to my frustration.

I mean, im in a dark room and then BOOM flashlight!!!

I might as well turn my phone on and stare at it for 5 seconds, that's the equivalent of the darn Flashlight!

Close your eyes, take a deep breath and decide for your own whether you want to keep going through this.
There are no penalties for DCing, so why not do it? Survivors do it all the time

Also I recommend dodging flashlights in lobbys if you have problems IRL dealing with them

i don't want to resort to dodging lobbies of flashlight users, or dc'ing the game. i don't mind the challenge of dealing with flashlight users. i just don't like the physical effect it has on hurting my eyes. headaches have only really occured in extreme cases, and it seems to me this is something the devs could change with minimal effort, rather than having to resort to what it seems many do by dodging or dc'ing.

They said they wanted to tune down the flashlight flash. Maybe even make it black screen ;)

You dont mind the callenge dealing with flashlights, but at the same time you dont wanna be exposed to flashlights.

Well, if you dont wanna take my advice, go ahead and deal with the headache

Sure the devs could change that with minimal effort, but on the other hand we are waiting for even simpler features for ages
