flashlights vs hag traps are buggy

  • Flashlights when used on hag traps will not always reveal the trap, or destroy it when you focus on it.
  • Platform: Steam
  • How often this issue occurs: Happens intermittently. but often enough to be an issue
  • How to reproduce this issue (if possible) A friend and I were reproducing it at least once a game while running around in KYF testing it. Just bring a flashlight, a +2 chests coin and plunders to get some more flashlights. Have your friend drop a bunch of hag traps in different areas/elevations and try to zap them. had the issue come up with both Purple and green flashlights (didn't try yellow ones before we got sick of testing)

A friend and I are both confused as to what is the cause of this. We did a lot of experiments on 'Sanctum of Wrath' because of its various heights, but across different attempts we managed to have several 'immune to flashlight' traps on the top floor of the Sanctum, ground floor just before the stairs up the sanctum, and in the basement under the sanctum. However this bug is not limited to that map, we also managed to get it to occur with 'the pale rose', 'Torment Creek' and 'Rotten Fields' which were all of the maps we tested before quitting.

Traps that seemed 'immune to flashlight' stayed immune, even if I left the area and later returned to try to flash it again. two traps that were immune to one flashlight, were still immune to flashlights when i looted a new flashlight from a chest and tried the new light on the old traps. We could get two traps placed very close together where one was immune to flashlights while the other was not. And we could also occasionally get 2 traps next to eachother that were both immune to flashlights. Whatever the cause of this bug is, we were not able to figure it out after the better part of an hour experimenting. We did not have a 3rd friend free to join us for these tests, so we do not know if a trap is immune to one players flashlight or all players flashlights.

And in all cases, traps that appeared to be 'immune' to a flashlight continued to be visible to the hag, and she was able to teleport to them should they be triggered after having been flashed with a flashlight. It was not just a visual bug that the survivor thought the trap was still there when it wasnt.
