Dear Dead By Daylight: Currency Changes (Excerpt)
Hey everyone,
You may have seen this stuff floating around for awhile on the forums, but in case you didn't know, I uploaded a document (and accompanying forum post) titled Dear Dead by Daylight about awhile ago which has been getting incredible feedback from you guys here in the community, but the biggest suggestion was to split all the change ideas into multiple documents to make them easily digestible.
Today, I bring you suggestions for changing Bloodpoints, Iridescent shards, and score events. This may not seem like much of a change, but I think these will help shape the actions of killers and survivors in a way to make the game more fun for everyone.
If you want to know my reasoning or check out the rest of the changes, I'll leave a link to the main post as well as the previous article. Please leave constructive criticism and/or support, you're feedback is invaluable. Thanks again,
NorMak3
P.S. This list isn't perfect and I may change things on the main document based on new data, but I don't plan on changing anything on these fragment posts, so if something seems off, make sure to check the main document or comments to make sure it isn't already fixed.
- " Add a new score event for killers that activates when 3 survivors have disconnected or died and the last one is either injured or healthy. It grants them 600 bloodpoints, is in the hunter category, and is called “The Hunt Begins”
- Add a new score event for killers that activates if, any time after they hook the first survivor, they hook a survivor that hasn’t been hooked before. It grants them 250 bloodpoints, is in the sacrifice category, and is called “Fresh Meat”
- Add a new score event for survivors that activates if they are put into the dying state within 5 seconds of unhooking a survivor. It grants them 1000 bloodpoints, is in the altruism category, and is called, “Go On Without Me”
- Add a new score event for survivors that activates if a survivor rides the elevator to or from the basement. It grants 300 bloodpoints, is in the boldness category, and is called “Elevator Ride”
- Add a new score event for survivors that activates and continues as long as the survivor is recovering in the dying state. It has a minimum gain of 1 bloodpoint with a maximum of 1000 with it being at the maximum recovery without a perk, is in the survival category, and is called “Recover”. Each time the survivor is downed, it starts a new instance of the event with a new maximum of 1000 bloodpoints.
- Add a new score event for survivors that activates when they crawl in the dying state. It has a minimum gain of 1 bloodpoint with a maximum of 500 bloodpoints based on how far they crawled (50 meters maximum), is in the survival category, and is called “Keep Going”. This will not start a new instance every time they are downed.
- Add a new score event for survivors that activates if they are using No Mither or Unbreakable and fully recover from the dying state. It grants them 750 points, is in the survival category, and is called “Withstand”
- Add a new score event for survivors that activates when you partially blind a killer. It grants 75 bloodpoints, is in the boldness category, and is called “Partial Blind”
- Move the “Hatch Escape” score event to the survival category
- Reduce the maximum bloodpoints from the event action “Chased” to 4000 bloodpoints
- Reduce the maximum bloodpoints from the event action “Basement Time” to 2000 bloodpoints
- Increase the bloodpoints gained from the event action “Protection” to 750 instead of 200 bloodpoints
- Increase the bloodpoints gained from struggling so that, at maximum struggle time, a survivor gains 1000 bloodpoints. Additionally, reduce the numerical maximum of the “Struggle” score event maximum to 1000 bloodpoints to match its new in-game maximum
- Increase the bloodpoints gained from the event action “Bold” to a maximum of 500 and double the bloodpoints gained from performing the “Bold” action
- Change the evader points gained from escaping a chase so that you must be in the chase for at least 8 seconds to get the points.
- A new shop will be created known as the Immortal Flame. You are able to go through each of your unlocked characters and sell unwanted addons for iridescent shards. Common addons are worth 5 iridescent shards, uncommon ones are 10 iridescent shards, rare ones are 15 iridescent shards, very rare ones are 20 iridescent shards, and ultra rare ones are 25 iridescent shards. You can only sell 25 addons per week."
