Demogorgon Channeling abyss, killer instinct bug

I play on Xbox 1 and started to notice in games that when channeling abyss to see killer instinct, it doesn’t come up sometimes (even when portal is activated) I was channeling abyss then a gen was completed, THEN I saw the people, even though they were on top of the portal the whole time. This bug really hurts demo in his map control capability. I know the description is kinda vague, hope you can work with it.
