The Plague gets stuck on a doorway in Haddonfield

It just happened that I was in one of those houses with a basement accessible through two staircases. I was chasing a survivor and entered from the left entrance (the one with the staircase leading to a window), and while moving down the stairs I lunged since I was in range to hit the survivor. Instead of hitting them though, I lunged on the spot (missing the survivor) and couldn't move forward until like a second after.
What I guess happened is that during the lunge I moved horizontally instead of diagonally down the stairs, and the Plague is so tall that she hit the roof with her head and got stuck. I think it's a problem with this specific killer because I never had this problem before with other killers.
