The Hex system is really good
The hex system is really fun, the excitement of knowing that you might (will) be playing without one or more of the perks you painstakingly unlocked is great. It’s so fun that I feel bad that you don’t get the same thrill when playing as a survivor, could the devs please make it so that each time you get hooked you randomly lose one of your perks for the rest of the match? That would basically be the equivalent of what the hex system is and would make the game more fun for the survivors.

Except equipping Hex Perks is optional, while being hooked is an integral part of the game.

I feel that the chance to lose a 1/4 or more of your loadout shouldn't really be straddled on killers. Why do we have the ability to lose a perk forever before it even got used, while survivors have 16 perks and hardly ANY of them are single use.

I liked using Hexes, and I wish we could use them more tbh. I run Ruin but most games it's useless.
I wish killers got a dedicated hex slot on top of 4 perk slots. Then everyone would know there's almost certainly a totem, and we don't get shafted for running one and losing out on 1/4 of our loadout.

They seem quite scared of adding an additional slot for any role in any way.
I don't really blame them of concerns regarding this, it might create loads more needed balancing that'll take time away from other balancing.
But i'd figure a PTB would be the perfect place to try out 1 or multiple additional slots...

I've always found it weird that an asymmetric game tries to force symmetry so hard on things like perk slots. It would make sense that the killer has at least 1 more perk slot than survivors, they are supposed to be more powerful after all. But that's why I feel if the new slot is dedicated to hexes only it will stop the rampant abuse of 5 perks that would happen.
What's the worst that happens with an extra hex that most people never bring in anyways? Hex builds get 5 perks but they can't be in 5 places at once.

They'd have to put in a 6th Totem btw.
Hexes in all slots + 1 of them being Haunted Ground + NOED not being one of them = 6 Hex Totems for at least some time.
Indirect, tiny Thrill of the Hunt buff, lol.

Yeah 6 totems with TOTH? I already get the sound notification spam when I run totem Hag, I can't imagine what it'd be like with 6 oh god.

I think do offering to increase totems. Would increase totem locations for killers running hexes, survivors running Inner Strength have extra chances for heal.

Yeah, i've recommended those before.
Nothing came of it though, guess it's not a necessary thing at the time.
