Is this intended or another exploid?

I'm talking about survivors pushing the killer out of his hook animation (we all know its possible, at least 80% of you saw the "funny random moments" montage vids where this is pulled off multiple times).
here is what hapened:
i got one guy in the basement and catched another guy around the basement. as i walked down the stairs to hook the 2nd person, scratchmarks revealed, that the 1st guy was about to get rescued. my plan was to hook the guy on my shoulders on the first hook and down the injured one while he tried to run past me (he was at the back hook). it all played out pretty well, until i entered the hook animation (after you press space and the killer automatically moves to the hook in order to hook the survivor) and the rescuer just ran staright into me and pushed me away from the hook (while i was unable to move, cause i was stuck in the animation) which lead to the guy wiggeling out and instead of me getting 2 hooks and 1 injured player, into 2 injured plyers leaving the basement while i was stunned and one healthy guy bodyblocking my attack for them (which lead to me losing the game btw).
so my question here is: is this BS actually intended or is it yet another explaoid that didnt get fixed by now? like, it has been in the game for so long now, i dont even know weather its intended or not.
anyways i really hope they will remove that soon, because that is just ridiculous...
