Suggestion for Key Balance

Let's say there's more than 1 survivor left in the trial, hatch spawns and killer finds it first.

Let killer damage the hatch so that the survivor must "fix" it for like 30 seconds before they can use a key.

It would work like a generator, the killer can re-damage it or maybe not but if they survivor stops working on it the timer won't go down or anything. This makes it where they have a chance to either work on gens or the lock and escape.

It doesn't hurt the key's viability too much but it also doesn't leave the killer straight helpless if they're chasing someone with a key at full health and know where the hatch is but can't do anything to stop it.


Quick note: The hatch would still behave like normal, instant-open as long as the killer doesn't damage it first. It's still first come first served.
