Can't Run After Being Hit Bug

Platform: PS4

A couple of times within the past week, I've had a bug where, after getting hit by the killer, my character goes into a crouch position and cannot run away, only crouch walk. I also don't get the initial speed boost that would help me gain distance. It is not a controller issue. This only happens after being hit by the killer. I'm pretty sure I'm already crouched when the killer hits me, so in essence, I get stuck in that animation and cannot break out. Without being able to run away, the killer gets an easy down and hook. After being unhooked, I'm able to run as normal again.

It seems to me that when the killer uses an exhaustion perk, such as the Demogorgon's perk when you are working on a generator of less than 50% completion, that then you suffer from exhaustion for 1-3 seconds, which seems to be intended to stop someone from sprinting away instantly as soon as the Demogorgon arrives. If in this state of exhaustion, and having pressed the button to crouch before being in this strange state of exhaustion, you then are forced to crouch until you hit crouch again (possibly rapidly).

I dont like it, and it doesnt seem to be how the perk is supposed to work.

I don't believe I was suffering from exhaustion, but I'll check for the icon the next time just in case. Thank you for the idea! If that is it, it's definitely a bug.
