Game breaking Lag/Freeze
Greetings Reader,
I play Dead by Daylight on PC, Windows 7 with and AMD Graphic device. I do not remember the exact components but the PC is mediocre and able to play any game i came across so far with high graphic settings and 30-40 fps.
My Problem is, that upon starting the game all works fine up until the Start menu appears, from this on onwards the screen freezes completly while all sound remain fully operational and dont lag the slightest.
If i tab out of the game and get any other window in front of the Game window, and then tab back into DBD the screen is updated to that moment, allowing to kind of operate the settings and such via "refreshing" the game's screen after every single click and action.
As you can image this is completly unplayable and i didnt even got as far as to actually get into a round, as even joining a lobby already breaks the game completly.
I own DBD since a day now due to being gifted it by a friend, so i cant say if this problem occurs due to the latest patch (as many other bug posts seem to do) or just bad programming.
If possible i would appreciate a solution for that problem very much.
Steps i tried so far:
Restarting the game
Lowering settings in every regard
Starting in window Mode
Validating game files on steam
Reinstalling the game
Reinstalling Easyanticheat
Deinstalling Easyanticheat
reinstalling the game with complete scrubbing of any traces of it
No solution worked so far in any regard or fashion
