Demogorgan Teleport Stuck in environment

I have played several games as Demogorgan and when I use a portal to somewhere either elevated than the base floor or anywhere in general there is a chance that Demo would emerge from the environment props or floor several feet away from his portal. Once in the swamp I set a portal at the top of the platform where one or two generators can spawn with a jungle gym and when I teleported back to it I was 4 feet away from the portal floating in midair and promptly fell back down. Here are some screenshots I took that had me stuck in the environment and unable to escape.
