Why the devs should remove keys and moris.
Because they are game breaking and borderline cheating items that remove any semblance of skill in the game that appear extremely frequently in the bloodweb despite being named "Rare" items. No killer likes seeing a survivor with a key and no survivor likes seeing a killer with a mori so I doubt anyone would be upset to see them go

they are ultra rare for a reason

Let me fix that for you.
"They are """"Ultra Rare"""" for a reason."
Because they aren't Ultra Rare, you get Keys and Moris every other Bloodweb

Ironically, anything "Ultra Rare" is actually more common than several Rare/Very Rare (Green/Purple) items due to their scarcity. Survivors only have 4 UR options to possibly get (Skeleton Key, Rainbow Map, BNP, Syringe), and all killers only get 1-3 max (dependent on if they get 0/1/2 UR add-ons). High levels in the bloodweb nearly guarantee 1 UR node per web too. I would argue the Purple Flashlight is a rarer item than anything in the Ultra Rare category. I certainly find it in chests and the Bloodweb less often.
That said, I think Keys could be reworked into a less frustrating item class if their main focus was shifted to their aura reading capability instead of their "open the hatch" gimmick. Would also mean the Broken Key could finally stop being so laughably useless.
I agree that I think mori offerings are rapidly outstaying their welcome. Mori's tend to have a big effect on a Trial, which seems rather powerful for an OFFERING. I hate playing against them as survivor because I could be prematurely tunneled out of a game after a long matchmaking queue. I don't use them much as killer because I like getting BP and drawing out the match (two things their use generally discourages). I just feel rather unsporting running them as killer too (I avoid using NOED outside of challenges for a similar reason). Mori's rewarded through perks are fine though, and I would like to see a few more perks added which could activate them.

Ok, so listen to this, Keys are not overpowered or broken, the Hatch mechanic is the issue. If the Hatch didn't spawn in until these two alternate criteria are met: all gens are done and if 1 survivor was left alive, that would make keys completely fine.
Mori's on the other hand, Ebony and Ivory are completely abusable in their current state. Now, you could change them to make it so it only works on death hook or when everyone has been hooked once, but the latter still feels undeserved 4/12 hooks and now everyone dies...nah. Maybe removing them and only having Cypress is the way to go.

Yes, a key that guarantees a win just by holding it in your hand makes sense, a key where you can keep the hatch open for your buddies, it's no different than a mori, it can end the game very quickly and make a fair game spiral downhill quick.

@ShrekIsHot all gens need to be done in my redesign of the Hatch. You cannot complain against that as killer, plus, at end game, if you aren't chasing anyone and they all get hatch, what the actual hell were you playing at? Closing it still exists. So, no, just having the key isn't a given win to the survivors. So what are you on about?

So you're saying hatch should not spawn for last Survivor until all the gens are done? So if it's a complete 3 man slaughter fest, 4 gens left, the last Survivor has to do 4 gens on his own?

Hatch should only spawn if all gens are done or only one survivor is left
1 -
Right, you should not be able to just find hatch because of two gens left.
2 -
@ShrekIsHot man, how are you not getting this? What OniWantsYourMacceroni said is exactly the same as what I said.

I'll keep this simple, they get to the point and you don't, I get it, you just seem worked up.

@ShrekIsHot lol how is what my original comment stating, me not "getting to the point" I literally said:
"Hatch doesn't until spawn in until either of these criteria are met: all gens are done and 1 survivor left alive"
Lol get outta here with the attitude XD

if its a 3 man slaughter fest why should the last survivor get a chance to get out for free? Hatch should spawn closed and start EGC as soon as the second to last survivor dies. That way keys have a purpose that is not game shattering, if not they can still leave via gates, and the game cannot be held hostage.
As for moris, as much as I enjoy the animations, they could probably use a rework of some kind, probably just letting you kill everyone on death hook rather than second hook and changing the yellow tier mori to something not so hit or miss.

200% agree, if you do have them on their last hook state, that means you are mori'ing them, you lose out on some hook emblem and BP for hooking, PGTW wouldn't trigger and you are near hooks all the time anyways, that would be much healthier, I look forward to Mori animations.

Keys are not that common because Survivors have quite a bunch of pink and purple Stuff to get in the Bloodweb.
Ebony Moris on the other hand... Are more common or uncommon than Ultra Rare.
Not that this does matter at all, something being rare (or supposed to be rare) does not make it balanced.
