Teleporting backwards when using mouse and keyboard

I have a really weird situation on PC, where when I play survivor with mouse and keyboard, I consistently teleport backwards, but same doesn't happen when I play using a controller (DS4). I play killer with m&k only and there's no problem mentioned beforehand. I'm playing on wired connection, and my internet is perfectly fine. Does anyone know why this is happening?
