Killer Mori’s Rework Part II
In my previous discussion about Mori’s, I had suggested having an option of being able to kill survivors either in first person or third. In this one, I will be talking about some of the Mori’s themselves and also a HUD update for them.
The Mori’s recently have been great, with some being completely brutal or somewhat realistic considering the circumstances. However, when these Mori’s are shown, they’re almost never changed. And this is bad for some killers who really haven’t aged well with their executions. If you can see where I’m going with this, I’m talking about the original three; the Wraith, Trapper and Hillbilly. I couldn’t think of anything more anticlimactic than simply putting your foot on the survivors back and slashing them a dozen times. However, from what I’ve been told, apparently this is being worked on but I can’t confirm it myself. So for now I’m simply saying this for the record.
Now, the second half of this discussion is a mini update to the HUD for the killers. Sometimes, when I bring a single person Mori, I forget to use it because I get caught up in destroying gens and hooking survivors. I know the dev’s have tried combating this by having the Mori be seen when standing over a survivor, but I would also like to know that I have my Mori ready before I hook someone. What I suggest is to have the Mori be seen on the right of the killers add-ons, so then that way they don’t need to look back in the menu to see what they have, wasting valuable time. This could also apply for bringing offerings in general. So, maybe to keep things consistent, have it so survivors also know what offering they bring, too. By having it shown right next to their items.
