It takes a hook stage, right? So why wouldn't decisive strike, borrowed time, we're gonna live forever, bbq and other perks work? It should be reworked.

This new mechanics denies all those and many more perks. You can run up to 3 useless perks if you're a survivor, which is ridiculous.

That may be, but is not a bug and how it was intended to work. Your post belongs in Feedback and Suggestions, not Bug Reporting.

Considering more then 50% of survivor perks are pure garbage, it lowers the pull of universal perks to minimum.

Aww, I'm sorry that your second chance perks are countered. You do realise that you can avoid the trail by crouching or just not walking into it at all. Wrong category as well.
