Pyramid Head torment bug

I was on grim pantry vs. pyramid head hiding in the basement of the killer shack, he had lost me in a chase and was placing torment around the shack. When he placed a line of torment above me in the shack it then tormented me randomly out of nowhere in the basement and made me scream, revealing my location.

If I guess this may have had to do with the fact of me being on the lower part of the staircase closer to the lockers at the bottom, meaning my model was a bit higher up than the actual floor of the basement itself.

    Just to clarify, this was on the PC version of Dead by Daylight

    I think that the trail gets broken when placed above the basment or placed on second floors in maps like "the game" and "midwich". A similar thing happened on "midwich" but the other way around. Ph placed a trail on the second floor and it got moved down to the floor below.
