New Silent Hill Map Issues
Just got done with my first run on the new map for the silent hill DLC for PS4. Just a couple of things to note. The first thing I have to say, is this map is darker, as in lighting, than most. As I main killers only, navigating in some of the areas were extremely difficult due to how dark it was. And I tried adjusting the brightness on my tv, and contrast and all that. Nothing seemed to help, so maybe brighten up the map just a touch, or give a brightness bar in the settings menu, that way we killers can at least see a little better. The 2and thing I noticed, is the map was a lot harder and confusing to navigate that all the other maps iv played. I went up stairs once, and could never find the steps again when I was back downstairs. I love the feel of the map tho, the creepiness and all that, so i suggest adding a few more open doors, or maybe widen a couple of areas to navigate through. Other than that, the map is awesome. I personally think it would be cool if we started in the regular. normal looking school, and like in silent hill, halfway through the game or so, we hear the sirens , and we see the transition from the normal school, to outworld school. Just food for thought. Anyway. Do any of you agree or disagree with me? What are your thoughts? Comment below!

It's dark because it's a horror game and a map designed to be scary and spooky. I understand the frustration, but the same goes for the Hospital. It was revamped and it looks 10x better with the darker theme and the rework in general. I love the map for the darkness and the look of it in general, but some of the pallet placements and some of the gaps and areas are irritating for both killer and survivor.

I understand its supposed to be dark and scary. I'm talking about actual visual things. Keep the darkness, just make it brighter , if that makes since. Like you know how resident evil has areas that are dark, gloomy, and scary, but you can still see everything. Resident evil 7 is a good example. You have a flashlight, but it's not needed all the time. Maybe the lighting can help a little more? Or like I suggested, a brightness setting. Not changing the atmosphere, but helping us see a bit better in game. On PS4
