Pretty lame how killers can so easily deny crowns for survivors
But literally all you have to do is play a killer to get their crown.
Half my matches have tunneling killers with moris.
The BP offering doesn't work.
No log in bonus.
And if you do manage to escape you get a measly 500 BP.
Probably the worst event so far. I'm not one to complain about the devs' choices very often but I'm massively disappointed.
Edit: I apologize for the tone of my post, but it's pretty frustrating. Hopefully these issues are fixed asap.

yeah if you want to escape with a crown you have to bring a key thats where this game has gotten to with events at this point

The problem being if they didn't have that restriction, we'd see a repeat of past events where survivors would go grab their crown, then go find the killer and suicide so they could go get the next one quicker. I'm not saying this was the right way to fix the problem, but I guarantee you that's why.

I said this in another post as well, shouldn't we be asking for survivors to keep their crown on death rather than complain about the other side? I'm just letting people escape in the meantime.

I just had a game where the killer destroyed us so hard someone disconnected almost immediately. Killer still felt the need to kill me instead of letting me walk away with my crown. Was pretty bummed because if I was the killer in that situation, I'd just let them go. Guess not everyone's like me...

I'm getting my crowns on killer and letting everyone escape. If they want to farm, we farm a bit. If not, they leave.

Lol ok. I have bought every dlc and rift plus plenty of cosmetics. So have many of us. They can afford to put more effort into this event. It should at least ######### work

It's literally day 1. It's not even prime time of day 1 yet in the US. And people are already flooding the forum with whining and complaining about not having their crowns yet.

I'm not so much complaining about not being able to get the crown, I'm complaining about killers being mean and killing you while you're the last survivor, halfway through opening the exit gate while you have the crown. I guess I just thought people had more of a good heart than that. Maybe this explains why this community is always so toxic.

I hate to sound jaded, but survivors pretty much never, ever, not even once, are considerate of killers in any way.
So yeah, constantly hearing about how killers need to be nice about every little desire that survivors have gets old.

I understand they are trying to make it pretty easy to get them hence the killer requirement simply being acquire and finish the game with a crown. For survivors they don't want to encourage any one particular part of the gameplay except finishing the game. I agree it's not the right solution but I'm not sure on a better one yet. Maybe giving a large point boost for surviving with it but still giving the cosmetic even if you die? To incentive trying to survive with it but not requiring it.

I get where you're coming from. This game has some pretty nasty survivors. This just annoys me because it's something nice that I would personally do for others, so it makes me judge people who don't. And I just had to get it out, so I guess this was the place. I even went out of my way to point some teammates into the direction of the crown, only to have us all die...

This is my first event since I got the game and I HATE IT. It has turned the game into an unfun-fest. Other games that I've played (League of Legends and Overwatch) always had events that made the game more fun and made me want to play more. This event has made me want to stop playing, despite just getting the game.
Are all events this bad? Because I think the devs ######### up BIG TIME with this one.

I had to abandon a teammate to get mine. I felt bad, but not bad enough. Was tired of all the tunneling and sweaty killers I had since this morning. Even when someone dc's or suicides while 5 gens are up, Killers are still playing like their lives depend on it.

The first few events were pretty solid. It's been like a year or 2 since the last event where most everyone was happy with it.
They're really close this time though. They just need to fix the locked halo on default heads and the survivors means of obtaining the crowns and it's actually a pretty well done one considering how awful some of the generator and hook based ones used to be.

I like the event overall and I donโt expect to be allowed to escape, but Iโve run into way too many killers running ebony moris. I had three back to back, itโs honestly pathetic.

If the killer is going to kill me I don't care, that's what they're supposed to do. But it's the ones being obnoxious just keep moving you away from exit gate and won't even hook you that are annoying. Before I'd get them occasionally, now it's back to back matches they're doing it to me or I'm spectating them do it to someone else. It's like the event brought out the worst in them. ๐

At the same time, it's funny watching the increase in MM-exploiting SWF streams just farming crowns off baby killers.
Some of them are honest about it, at least. Others are still pulling the, "I don't know how it works, that's just my friend, no idea how we keep getting baby killers!"

Lots of killers will farm for them.. I have 7/14 survivors done already. Would have 2-3 more but some of the killers I played against didn't care for party hats, or I couldn't find one in the match even if the killer was letting is go. So yes, technically it's harder to get them on survivor than killer but it's not that hard either.

I'm going to play my Survivor games as though I am trying to win the game while I get any crowns. That way, when I try to win while playing Killer, no one can accuse me of being a hypocrite. :)

Oh yeah, survivors totally have never let killers get their objectives in past events, and farmed with them, let them get their special hooks. Nah all survivors are and forever will be dicks, no if ands or buts. No exceptions. There is no good survivor. You're right, how could I have been so blind?

Can someone tell me what characters count? I tried Kate and apparently every single person in the match found the thing but me. As far as original,does it just mean all the ones that aren't from licensed chapters?

The devs literally had to make those hooks impossible to sabotage so survivors wouldn't destroy them and deny the killer any chance to get the points.

I've been loving the decrease in toxicity for a day personally everyone can get there crowns in my lobby's with blood party streamers from me. It's a birthday party and I'm having a blast so far. Thank you bhrv for your hard work I really did expect an advent.

I'm beat anyway. It keeps putting me against rank 1 killers. Every match I've tried so far. Doesn't usually do that. I'm low purple. Some of them I can see how they got to rank one. By being cheap lol. I appreciate that though,thank you very much. I wasn't sure if they literally meant original characters,like the first 7 or whatever we had at launch lol.
