No Crown Reward on Console
Playing the game as survivor (Kate) in the new event the reward for finding the crown pillar and escaping is not providing the crown cosmetic.
I have played as Kate Denson, Claudette Morel, and Zarina Kassir all with no success. I have had success with Zarina.
- As Kate is my main, I have tried putting on her default clothing to see if that was an issue. Still no success.
- The perks I had on were: Empahty tier 3, Kindred tier 3, Spinchill tier 3, and Decisive Strike tier 3
- I was playing on Hopkins Lab map
- As mentioned before this has happened four times with Kate, twice with Claudette. Zarina worked fine.
I do not have logs as this is on console (PS4 specifically for my experience)
There were no oddities that I experienced in the game. Meaning no crash, no lag really, nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm playing on PC and I main Nancy as survivor and Demogorgon as Killer. I'm getting the crown in both games and said I unlock it but when I check my cosmetics I don't have any of those. I did get the crown when I was using Wraith.

You cannot get the crown cosmetic on licensed characters.

I am also on PS4 and have completed the match after getting the crown and glow effect and both the bloodpoint notification for getting it and finishing the match with it and nothing new has appeared in my inventory. Has this bug been addressed yet?

What was previously said is true. You can only get them for non-licensed characters. So no for Steve, Ash, Nancy, Tapp, Laurie. Same with Killers, not a go for Demo, Myers, Freddy, Pig, Ghost Face, Pyramid Head.
I have found that if I change the cosmetics to the characters default I have had better results. I don't know why, but that has been working best. At times I have had to play multiple times as that character but it seems to work better.
Hope you get it. Let me know if you have discovered anything new or tricks yourself.

I played 3 matches like this as Hag and also have nothing in my inventory. I was really looking forward to rekindling my lost dbd love with the anniversary, but it's just made me feel more frustrated.

I know this sounds crazy and is a lot of effort. I have had great success lately by going to the default skins of the killers and survivors when going for this. Have you tried this? I also went to the extreme and changed cosmetics to default, closed the application and restarted. I have been getting my crowns as of now. Well when the killers aren't so thirsty and taking it away. LOL

Im having the same problem with William overbeck on PS4. Ive won two games with the crown buff and still havent gotten it. I have even had notifications saying it has been unlocked at the end of games when it hasnt. Its quite annoying because im trying to collect it for all my characters and this is getting in my way

William is not a Original. He dont get this because he is license

I've also played three games on PS4 with Legion (Concealed Intentions, Stolen Hoodie, Sawtooth Blade), and two with Hag (Dreaded Husks, Blooming Seed Core, Toxic Talon), gotten the crown and the notification that I've unlocked it though nothing in their cosmetic slot. Wondering if it's linked to non-basic cosmetics maybe? Hope this gets fixed soon!
EDIT!!!
So I went in and I changed my headpieces to the default/standard and was able to get the crown every time. I think it's likely tied to that.

I tried that and after 4 attempts I got it for Huntress, then I used Legion with cosmetics and got it as well after 2 attempts. I am currently on my 4th attempt for Oni and it does not appear as if the lack of cosmetics affects much.

Today it says I've gotten crowns as Dwight, Ace, David, and Meg and none of them are showing up on PS4.

Why would people want these? They look ridiculous and on a survivor makes you more visible. And when you take one you will glow, also bad. I ignore these no matter what character I play.
