how would it be if survivors had first person view?

i have been wondering that for a while.... i think it would be more scary for survivors (and maybe it should be scarier) and more immersive. when i think of dbd i don't think it is a scary game (at least in my opinion) even when playing survivor. don't take me wrong, there may be people out there that think the game is scary when playing survivor, but from what i know that does't seem like a popular opinion (comment what you think, it is playing dbd as survivor scary or terrorific? or at least immersive? ). so.... mi idea is that: to make dbd more scary for survivors, they should have a first person camera. why? because a first person view should, supposedly, make the game more immersive for them,i mean, you are not longer watching your character from afar (from a "safe distance or place"), now you are the character, and you see how the character sees at his level or perspective. so what i am trying to say is: first person view for survivors should make the game more immersive, and making the game more immersive should make the game more scary.

and now..... imagining this as if it was real, if survivors had a 1st person view, maybe they should have a wider fov (even wider than a killer with the "monitoring and abuse" perk) to compensate their now more restricted view. they also should be able to lean from walls or objects, and incline their bodies to the sides without needing a surface or wall to do this,( and/or maybe adjusting the height of your camera only while crouching, to sneak more easily around small objects and having an easier time at watching your surroundings without necessarily stand up completely) of this way survivors would have to risk being seen by the killer when they want to know where the killer is. example:

*with 3rd person camera: as a survivor you can see the killer, but he can't see you, if you place yourself behind a wall or object and place your camera around you in the right angles, meaning that you don't really have to risk anything if you want to see where exactly is the killer.( question: it's me or the characteristic of "i can see you, but you can't see me" is something that fits more like a killer or a hunter? (without considering some perks of course))

*with 1st person camera: as a survivor you can see the killer, but you need to expose some parts of yourself, at least your face for a brief moment. meaning that if you want to get that info about the killer's position you need to take a risk at least a little bit. maybe the killer saw you meanwhile you were leaning or maybe not (that´s the risk, the risk of being seen). i expect survivors will think more about to lean or not to lean.... or at least they will be more patient.

also, note that your camera position would be located at a lower height, that means: a more restricted view. remember when you could sneak around debris or objects of low height with a 3rd person view while crouching? ok. with a 1st person view you would need (in some cases) to expose yourself for a moment to see what or who is around you. (because while crouching, some debris or objects could block your view).

when doing some tasks like healing, opening doors, fixing generators, etc... the camera might be 1st person (i personally would like this), and meanwhile you do this tasks you could still see around you but with a 1st person view. the only "problem" might be the fixing generators situation, because of course, it seems the faces of the survivors are very close to the generator when the fix it. so when fixing generators survivors shall lean to the sides and above the generator. regarding skill checks, i'm not sure, i think they should stay in the middle of the screen or maintaining the old ones.

*when being carried by the killer, hooked, in the dying state, trapped by trapper's trap (xd), etc... are situations that i'm not sure if those should have the 1st person view..(i would like it) maybe its good or at least ok. maybe keeping the 3rd person view would eliminate some of the immersion... but i'm not sure.

*crazy mechanic idea regarding 1st person view that it's maybe too much to ask(?) : when doing certain tasks like healing, fixing or cleansing, watching the thing you are fixing, healing or cleansing, speeds up the process of said tasks, but when you are not watching the thing" the process slows down. like when you are concentrated in something and you do it better when you're giving it attention. or maybe the more time you watch "the thing" being fixed, cleansed or healed, the faster the process is done, but when you stop looking at it, you loose your bonus speed of finishing these tasks until you start watching "the thing" again for a certain amount of seconds

pd: the lack of capital letters is due to problems with my keyboard

pdd: i would like to play killer without hud because it looks more cinematic, would you also want this?

The game has many problems that need fixing and is overall based on survivors seeing through third person. First person would be cool, but would have to be its own entire game, separate from dbd.

This would be a very different experience for Survivors. BHVR tested this, but decided against supporting it.

I loved the idea, Perhaps this could be supported if it was added as crossplay option. So we can turn such players on/off in matchmaking.

Because I DOUBT VR Survivor would be very useful, lol.

I would like it but better do it in a new game where it is balanced around both parties having 1st person view.

Imagine sitting on a Gen and you can't look directly behind you.... And suddenly a Myers grabs you
