When killer is AFK in the beginning of the game, game should be cancelled
What's the point\fun of playing without killer in a game? It ridiculous it's allowed and as a survivor you need to spend your time doing all the gens and opening gates cuz you can't even dc cuz of penalties.

so if a killer gets bullied by all the unbalanced ranks swf and overall better players they cant step away out of frustration? the game should just end?
Im just saying if the killer has had enough they cant dc either theyre forced to wait same as you. it doesnt hold the game hostage it just makes it less fun. if theyre afk from the beginning I can understand a bit more but from my experience (20+ minutes wait time) Im not always on the same tab waiting

exactly maybe if we weren't always being put in red rank matches 4 man as a rank 10 or such a toxic survivor community we wouldn't need to step away this is an issue that needs to be addressed with the dc penalties with a still Severely unbalanced game. I mean as it is we are forced to finish every game no matter how unfairly its stacked, just be happy you get to escape and noed isnt a problem.

there are killers who just look for the crown and after that go into a corner and afk. Survivors dont get any alturism/boldness (5k for all totems, maybe some hook sabo if you loot a toolbox) and depip. How are random survivors at fault for actions other survivors did or how the killer performed in their recent games? Also I've lost some of my addons for my items, which is really frustrating.

I can agree this event is not thought through very well, when it comes to these issues.
Lunar event, those were the good times. 😉
I also believe in general something should be implemented to deal with AFK Killers.
Perhaps the new MMR system will resolve this issue.

@MiniPisa Because just doing gens are leaving is not enough to maintain rank. That is part of the worry here.

they can't know if youre afk, using insidius for something or facecamping, that's why can't do that

I think this should happen if any player is afk for the first 2 minutes (if that's too long then maybe the first 1 minute) because as killer its also incredibly unfun to have a survivor afk at the start
This should also be the case if somome dcs within that time
Many games have this feature and id like to see it implimented

Unfortunally, I think this should stay as it is, but just because there is plays the killer can do of just staying still the whole Match with Rancor/NOED pretending they are AFK, so when the final gen is done, he may be lucky enough for a survivor to be greedy in blinding the killer/running around him to trigger chase points, and then he Insta down a survivor, gaining one free kill.
Sure, it's not a fun strategy, but people can do whatever they want to get a kill.

I don't mind this, as long as survivors are given priority the next time they queue. Because it would just be a dick move to do to survivors when queues are like 5+ minutes.

I disagree. Partly because afk killers can make great comebacks sometimes and partly because I had a killer go afk for a while today, and it allowed me to get Dwight's crown without playing 8+ matches for it.

rank don't matter so why care if the killer afk i'm sure this survivor who like bully the killer anyways.
