Save the Game. Change ideas from an addict.
Hi everyone! I have attached a list of things that should change/be updated to make this game better. I would love all comments or criticisms. I just really want to see this game stick around and feel that a few changes should be made to see that happen.
1) There are so many perks. Make it so there is only 1 tier for each perk. This will keep new players around. Pretty simple logic. Dead by Daylight is an amazingly fun game. But not many new players want to spend 1500 hours just to be competitive. There will still be a massive skill gap based on time played, but the current perk situation and grind are definitely deterrents that prevent casual players from sticking around. Especially for poor killer mains.
2) Why is ebony mori even a thing? I do not mind the concept of getting tunneled once and going to the next game. But being able to do that to 4 survivors just seems ridiculous. I would even be more receptive of an ebony mori having the ability to kill 2 survivors. I just feel that with the ability to kill all four, you have a game of hiding that is a waste of everyone's time.
3) Huntress Iri heads switched to a reduced hatchet item that upon hitting a survivor, either fully restores or restores the one hatched used. This would at least offer a skill aspect to a pretty strong killer. The trade off for one shot is the renewal of a hatchet, which I think would be more beneficial and much less toxic/unfun.
4) Managing disconnects. While I like the thought behind a disconnect penalty, I find that a casual game like this should not have it. After being slugged an entire game or facing the same killer 18 times in a row, I also sometimes want to dc. What if a disconnect, instead of being a ban, provided a black pip to all remaining survivors? That would allow for the survivors to keep trying and pushing forward and give the killer more points because everyone is not suiciding on their first hooks. The person who dc'd loses a pip, so the person ruining the game gets punished. Why should we punish everyone else in the game?
5) Pyramid heads ability to cage you should allow for adrenaline, borrowed time and DS. He as a killer can already mori and avoid decisive strike with his powers. The cage is such an easy mechanic to tunnel off of, so I believe the cage should apply hook statuses, since it does count towards your hook total and eventual death.
Thanks everyone for reading! I have really enjoyed all my time with this game and just want to see it survive the test of time. If anyone has more ideas, I am always open for discussion and adaptations of my own ideas. Have a great week/weekend!

Yeah many people ask for this. It's even kinda pointless because some perks the difference is so small its pointless. Taking enduring for example, it takes the stun from 2s to 1.2/1.1/1 seconds... the difference between Tier 1 and Tier 3 is literally 0.2 seconds...

I think the common suggestion here is to make it death hook... this way tunneling isn't really an issue either way.

I've personally preferred the Deathslinger approach. She keeps her five hatchets but the exposed effect only happens on people she hits who are more than 20m away (I personally would prefer 24m to keep it inline with the achievement). But I do admit I do like the idea of getting hatchets when hitting people.

They can't give survivors their perks without also giving killers there. however adrenaline should be an exception, because it specifically states if you are disabled, not hooked.
Adrenaline is on hold if you are disabled when it triggers and will activate upon being freed.

1) I agree with this. It's about time to consolidate.
2) I agree with this. Maybe have Ebony be able to kill 1 survivor after 1 hook at max or something (like the Green one does now). Ebony's are bad for the game.
3) They're already reworking Iri head and rightfully so. That said, I rarely come across one myself.
4) No. I don't agree with this one bit. DCs were WAY out of control before the penalties and have been better after. It's still not perfect. but it's so much better than what it was. Your idea of having black pips happen on DC would be so easily abusable in SWFs it's not even funny. If you're a Survivor and things don't go your way, don't be a salty POS and DC and ruin the game for everyone. That said, if that happens, most Killers I see do let the remaining survivors farm or let the last one leave through the hatch to compensate.
5) Another one I don't agree with. His power is fine as is and forces other survivors to go for the uncage quickly instead of finishing an objective to make sure they're taken out safely. If PHead is literally traversing across the entire map, it's not a tunnel, you should have plenty of time to stabilize yourself. You can also easily predict the path he takes, so someone could try to kite him away as well. Also, there's the other option: Don't step in his torment. Seriously don't do it. If you don't, he can't cage you, and it's not too hard to avoid most of the time. Just be careful where you step. Don't blame the PHead for tunneling you, blame yourself for stepping in the Torment or blame your friends for not uncaging you quick enough or giving PHead something else to focus on.
Also, despite your name, I noticed that every single one of your points is survivor-sided. This makes your suggestions come across as very biased.
