    I personally don't find it completely useless. Now that you can make a caged survivor move when you're too close you can do some serious trolling once you figure out the next spawn before other survivors make the rescue. I personally just hook once or twice before caging them, usually to avoid Borrowed Time or Decisive Strike twice so I can skip straight to Final Judgement. God I love that mori, quick and to the point, good when I need to quickly kill someone and get another survivor before they escape. :)

    just save the cage for when you can't make it to a hook or you know/think they have ds. think about it that way maybe. if they have to step in your line to get out after an unhook, you can punish them if you suspect they have ds by sending them to the cage instead of letting them get to use it. Still pretty damn useful in that sense
