Stuck in wall on Ironworks after being hooked

My teammate was hooked in the basement of the Ironworks building. When they were hooked, their character appeared above the basement inside the wall of the Ironworks building. They were able to be unhooked, but when they were unhooked they remained stuck inside a small area that was inside the walls. They couldn't get out & the killer couldn't hit them, had to wait for the end game collapse to finish the game.
