How To Stop Looping for Good

Vaulting: Adding a cooldown to vaulting will ground the looping issue where it stands. Upon vaulting 3 times, you will enter and exhaustion phase that lasts 7 seconds. This will force the survivor to move to another area and continue the chase as intended by design.

Bloodlust: Allowing Bloodlust to activate every time a survivor vaults more than once during a chase will heavily discourage looping. By placing an invisible trigger area of 25 meters on the location that the survivor has vaulted, depending on how close the survivor is to the original vault location, and how long they have stayed in the radius, will determine how powerful the Bloodlust buff is. If the player vaults in the same exact spot without leaving the loop twice, bloodlust will activate for the killer. This Bloodlust will appear with a red icon to signify the strength of the buff as the strongest variation of Bloodlust, the killer will be able to break pallets in the trigger radius 75% faster and move 50% faster. As soon as the survivor and killer both leave this radius, it will disappear and the buff will expire. However, if the killer remains in the radius, and the survivor leaves, the buff will expire in seven seconds.

Should the killer manage to hit the survivor while the buff is active, it will immediately down the survivor, and the buff will expire. The survivor will receive a 25% wiggle efficiency rate when picked up by the killer after being downed while Bloodlust was active, and have a 75% recovery rate increase, and get a free unbreakable perk that lasts only until leaving the dying state.

This way, a survivor who is newer to the game will not be mercilessly punished for making the mistake of looping, and high level players will be able to capitalize on survivors who make that mistake using a combined effort of their natural skill and the effects of the Bloodlust (Should be named “Bloodrage”)
