Thanataphobia buff/rework idea

So thanataphobia is a pretty garbage perk simply because of the numbers right? I mean you could buff the numbers to fix the perk or you could add a second effect to it. Something like self heal 25/50% slower and at tier three you are unable to heal yourself at all (wouldn’t apply to medkits and other people could still heal you). It’s would provide a pretty strong counter to self care and give the perk a good use. Maybe you could even just make it the perks main use and remove the other effects. What do you guys think? On one hand it could make it pretty op and essentially nullify a perk slot for survivors. One way to counter balance it would be to make it a hex that only becomes active once someone has been injured or maybe give increased altruism speed like dying light. Tell me what your thoughts are on this guys and if you think it would be too op or not.

    IMO one of Thanatophobia's biggest issues is that it gets weaker as you kill survivors. You are removing a survivor you can't injure anymore. So the perk should get more powerful as more survivors die. Since it's literally "Fear of death" after all.

    The only buff that Thanatophobia needs is a NERF to SELF CARE.

    This is the sad truth of it. Not only are the numbers barely noticeable but it actually hurts the perks as survivors die.
