you cannot take a survivor through the rescue animation. I am, that is, I played with the huntress. It seems, however, that as soon as a survivor helps the one hanging on the hook. A sort of invisible barrier is created that blocks the killer from the hold of the survivor, the one who saves. You can fix this. Very annoying. Especially in the red ranks.
