Amanda's Letter (Pig's ultra-rare) addon rework suggestion
Current description:
- When crouched, Auras of Survivors within 12m are revealed to The Pig.
- Available Reverse Bear Traps reduced by 3.
- Available Jigsaw Boxes reduced by 2.
Idea:
- All survivors start the trial with an Inactive Reverse Bear Trap.
- Available Reverse Bear Traps reduced by 3.
- When crouched, Auras of Survivors within 8m are revealed to The Pig [OPTIONAL]
Currently, her ultra rare addon is trash. Makes her weaker than she already is. Even though it can make her ambush attack more reliable at loops, her inability to slow down gens overshadows the time you save from a quick down. This iteration makes her ultra rare addon change how the early game plays out and the entire game in general without being extremely OP. Also combos well with her other ultra rare.

That is Amanda's Letter addon, not Rules Set No.2.
This is the description for rules addon:
- Not all games need to have the same rules.
- Disables the Survivors' ability to see the Auras
- of Jigsaw Boxes until their Reverse Bear Trap is activated.

And on the topic of changing it, everyone starting with RBT sounds awful for survivors. I wouldn't want that.

Thanks for the correction.
As for your concern, it's an ultra rare addon of a rarely used killer that changes the way the game is played for both survivor and killer (which is what every ultra rares should do in the first place). Besides the killer will have only 1 RBT on her hand which means she gets early game pressure at the cost of mid game pressure. Pig is not a strong killer by any means and I as a survivor would not think it is oppressive at all. Remember that it's an ultra rare and so seeing it all the time is not practical and even in the off chance you do see it, it's nowhere as good as other ultra rare addons like wraith's silent bell or insta down hatchets but instead just a different take in her power.

I think it would be really unpleasant change. Put on corrupt, ruin, M&A and surveillance/whispers and early game turns in to running between boxes.

Amamdas Letter (the one you want to change) is far more useful then Rules Set No.2. I would prefer you change the latter, bc Amandas Letter allows the same jump scare games as Mirror Myers. Just put on an indoor-map and make the survs paranoid by crouching until you see someone with the aura. It's situational yes, but not trash how you claim. The ruleset is trash, though,

Both of them are equally bad IMO. The rule set encourages them to do gens and Amanda's letter while good some of the time, against somewhat competent survivors is really bad as it encourages crouching all the time. Even when in an indoors map, you can't afford to be crouching all the time because of the movement penalty. And that's besides the fact that if they have spinechill they will always know when you will be coming.
I think a good change to rule set would be that survivors can only see the aura of the furthest Jigsaw box from the time the RB is put on and can't see other ones until they interact with the highlighted one. I don't really have an idea of how to improve/rework the letter so that it would be more viable since now you have to bring M&A + whispers for it to make any sense. That's sacrificing 2 perk slots to make this add-on work.
