More in-depth Display and Graphics Settings
Dead by Daylight is a very large title and a pretty decent title on PC alone, and so I believe it should actually have some industry standards for options in games? It confuses me as to why so many of these options are no where in the game.
We currently have these 4 options for Graphics:
Quality: (Low, Medium, High, Ultra)
Auto-Adjust: (On, Off) Automatically adjusts resolution to improve frame rate.
Fullscreen: (Fullscreen, Windowed)
What should be added as quality of life and as a standard that most games follow:
Display Resolution: (Adjustable presets) Possible Ultrawide support but possible just crop in due to advantages.
Aspect Ratio: (Adjustable presets) This could also help users who have ultrawides and just want 16:9 or players in different scenarios.
Adaptive performance FPS: (Being able to have a slider for what frame rate you want to hit)
Display Mode: (Adjustable with Fullscreen, Borderless, Windowed)
FPS limit: (Limit your game anywhere from 30FPS all the way to Unlimited such as being able to hit 100-200FPS)
V-sync: (Shouldn't have to explain this)
Field of view: (Possibly keep the FOV max at the current standard but able to adjust it lower for whatever reason players may need it for)
I also believe there should be a seperate page for graphics settings:
Keeping the presets with Low, Medium, High, and Ultra but once the new graphics release possibly adding a Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High, Ultra, Extreme, Nightmare, etc, etc (honestly depends how drastic the graphics update is towards performance).
Having seperate options for Model Quality, Textures, Anti-aliasing, Motion blur, Anisotrophic filters, etc, etc.
