Yeah, let's pretend that survivor is cheating, instead of blaming your lack of skill. If anything it gives a advatange to killers like nurse and legion, and sometimes you can't get blinded bc of it.

Let's focus on the fact the red stain is so freaking visible

It's minimal but you can definitely see more with stretched res. It could easily be the difference between seeing a crouching Ghostface or not.

I think they fixed that, you used to see red stain trough objects in low settings, I think they already fixed that

You can still hear ghostface moving, so I think it makes no difference.
You can try it on a kyf tho.

@Khakuate I'm not trying to say that is or isn't cheating, which by the way it doesn't look like it is. I'm just trying to point out that I have seen videos of people playing dead by daylight where their fov was wider than what it should have been. Those people in those videos were called out for cheating and people were saying they were using "stretched res". I'm pointing out that what you're calling stretched res is different than what I'm calling stretched res, and what I saw was most definitely cheating.

Idk i play console so I don't have to worry my issue is pc crossplay. I don't want to go against a hacker, unless they are the ones who just mess around flying and crap, but I would hate to play against a killer or survivor who can enhance their visuals and stuff to basically know where I am at all times

I play on pc, I have 2.2k and I have found only 1 hacker.
If anything you should worry about VPNing pc killers.

Okay, Pig then? It's also a lot more crisp farther away as well. Up close at loops sure, the difference is tiny but far away you can see a lot clearer and a bit more then you would otherwise.
The difference is again minimal, but it could still be the difference between spotting something or not.

There is also the red light trap, there are survivors that saturate the color so much that the killers no longer carry a small red light... they carry a boat headlight.

You thought the discussion was over when somebody proved that you can see over things in stretched rez that you can see over in normal rez? I admit it was foolish of whoever to use the haybale example when better examples exists. But it's equally stupid to assume that this cherry picked case of being able to see over a haybale in regular resolution is proof that stretched rez doesn't give an advantage.

I couldn't care less about people using stretched Res. We've all likely played against a few but they were the same as the rest of the survivors and barely did any better. But it is absolutely an advantage over keeping the Res native and I have no idea how any of the stretched Res users could say otherwise. Just admit that you're stretching your res for an advantage instead of trying to justify yourself for it.
